Costume Contest 2024

Costume Contest 2024

Participate Here: https://discord.com/invite/meshcaid

It's Sunday the 13th everyone, so you know what that means... It's time to kick off spooky season and bring back an event from last year that everyone can participate in, the spooky costume contest! This year's contest follows a similar format as last year with a few minor tweaks and adjustments.

Winners receive prizes based on how many community votes their best costume receives in our Discord, only the top three by final vote count will receive prizes. The first-place winner will receive a custom Voodoo doll based on their winning costume submission along with 2500 Nodes. Our second-place winner will also receive a custom item, the Voodoo doll necklace, based on their winning costume submission, plus 1000 Nodes. Finally, the third-place winner will receive 500 Nodes. Additionally, all winners receive a special Discord role.

To be as fair as possible we are allowing only one prize slot per player, so for example, you cannot win first and third place, but you can submit as many costumes as you'd like to maximize your chances of having a win!

To participate, all you need to do is log in to your Meshcaid account or create one for free, if you don't yet have one click here. After you are in your account, you can now create your costume(s) by purchasing items from the Meshcaid Marketplace with Nodes. You can obtain Nodes for free by logging in daily, each day you log in consecutively increases your amount of daily Nodes, and new accounts receive 10 Nodes upon sign-up. Alternatively, you can purchase Nodes or a membership subscription by visiting the upgrade account page. Once you've obtained enough items you'll need to create your costume(s) on the character customization page. After you've completed your costume(s) you'll need to then obtain a screenshot of your costume from either the character customization page, dashboard page, or your own profile page. You can find your own profile page by clicking on the gear cog in the top right corner of any Meshcaid webpage and clicking 'Profile'. Next, if you aren't already in our Discord server you'll need to join it and then navigate to the spooky submissions channel to submit your costume for initial voting. Each thumbs-up reaction is a vote including your own if you choose to vote for yourself, and the top ten unique player submissions from initial voting will move on to the final voting stage. Submissions and initial voting close on October 23rd, at midnight PDT, and final voting begins that next morning starting at 10AM. Final voting uses the same thumbs-up reaction vote system to count votes and ends October 31st, at midnight PDT. The final three winners will be announced this Halloween, October 31st, at 10AM PDT!

We'd love to see what you can dream up! Don't be afraid to add a name or some lore to your costume either, get creative! The first and second place winners last year had some of the most extensive lore so just a friendly tip from the Meshcaid team if you want the best odds of success!
